I had an after hours flood in a rental house from a broken AC drain line. Pinnacle was highly recommended to me by the owner of Sage Construction, so I called - thinking I would get a voice mail, but Guy picked up quickly and told me he could be there within an hour. (The drive alone was 45 minutes). He arrived quickly and immediately began the work needed to save the carpet and pad, and remove the water from the house. He left fans and dehumidifiers to dry the room and prevent mold from growing. When you have an unexpected flood, the last thing you need is a mold problem because it didn’t get dried out correctly. Been there, done that. Guy continued to monitor the property and returned 3 times to check the progress. His price was more than fair and he saved me the expense of replacing two rooms of carpet. Communication was quick and easy. His knowledge of the industry was apparent from the moment I met him. He was professional and has a great personality. Highly recommend this company!

There are a lot of things to consider when you’re looking for a water damage assessment and restoration contractor, but one of the most important is reviews. Reviews can give you an idea of what others have experienced with a contractor, and they can help you make sure that you’re hiring someone who is reputable and trustworthy.

Read both negative and positive reviews

When you’re reading reviews, pay attention to both the positive and negative comments. A good contractor will usually have more positive reviews than negative ones, but even the best contractors will occasionally get a bad review. The key is to look at the overall pattern of reviews. If most of the reviews are positive, then that’s a good sign. But if most of the reviews are negative, then you should probably keep looking.

Beware, Water Damage reviews can be biased

Another thing to keep in mind is that reviews can be biased. Sometimes, people will write negative reviews because they’re unhappy with the results of their own project, even if it’s not the contractor’s fault. And sometimes, people will write positive reviews because they got a discount or some other perk from the contractor. So take all reviews with a grain of salt and use your best judgment to decide whether or not a particular contractor is right for you.

Always act fast during a Water emergency!

If you have suffered from water damage, it is important to act quickly. The sooner you start the water damage assessments and restoration process, the less chance there is of further damage occurring. If you are not sure where to start, we recommend contacting a professional water damage assessment and restoration contractor for assistance.
